Recently there has been an influx of attacks on the female students at UVA. Girls walking alone in the early hours of the morning are the main targets. It is absolutely vital for women to protect themselves by being aware of their surroundings. Although UVA is a prestigious school, it is important to realize that danger lurks everywhere. Girls should never walk alone. And they should definitely make use of the systems the university has in place: Safe Ride, UTS, or even Yellowcab.
